Betting in Sic Bo is very similar to betting in roulette. Some of bets are called three of a kind and two of a kind bets. These type of bets mean a player places his bet on a single number appearing either three times or twice after the dice are shaken. If a player places a bet for triple, or a double he is going for two or three of a kind.
The rules of sic bo are siple. The object of a online sicbo game is to wager on the outcome of the roll of the three dice. You make your bet by first choosing your chip size, and then placing your chips on the area of the sic bo table corresponding to the bet you want to make.
Sic Bo Bets
There are different kinds of betting in Sic Bo. There is a small bet, this is where a player bets the total sum of the three dice will be low. 4,5,6,7,8,9 and even 10. There is no three of a kind in this type of bet.
If three of a kind should show up in this bet, then the player loses. Products of three of a kind total like 6 or 9 are also excluded from the small bet.
Now with bigger bets, things drastically change. The player will bet the total sum of the three dice to be higher. This is usually 11, 12, 13, 14 15, 16, or 17. Three of a kind is also excluded from this type of betting.
Another bet is, single bets usually 4- 17 when the sum of the three dice is added. Payout on this type of bet greatly varies. This also is depending on what type of bet is placed. Most lower and higher numbers have higher pay outs while the numbers in the middle have the lesser pay outs.
A Duo bet is another way to place a bet. This means the player believes that the outcome of the dice will have two of the numbers he has chosen.
However, no two numbers can be the same in this type of bet. The last possible bet is called one of a kind where a player believes that the dice will have at least one number which he has chosen.
Sic Bo Odds
Each sicbo bet has different payout odds. The good news is that you do not have to study them or memorize them. They are all printed clearly on the sic bo table. The lowest payout is 1-to-1 for the small or big bets. The highest payout is 180-to-1 for a winning specific triple bet. The great variety of possible sic bo bets means that you have many chances to win at sic bo, so try it. Playing Sic Bo can be a lot of fun.
