Facebook has announced that it has changed its advertising policy for the online gambling industry. With the new changes now online casinos are allowed to run ads on the famous social media network. Prior to this Facebook had its own prohibition in place on online casinos and affiliate websites who were interested to advertise on facebook.

Now Facebook has come up with new advertising guidelines for online gambling websites like online poker rooms, online casinos, sport books, lotteries and other gambling businesses who are interested to advertise. It seems that mobile gaming companies will be also allowed to advertise their products using the social network.

You can not purchase gambling ads through self-serve ads tool, rather it will be a direct sales partnership with facebook and the minimum monthly spend budget should be at least $30,000.

However, you are not allowed to target USA residents with the gambling ads. Although USA resident are allowed to place ads but they should target non-USA residents.
